Default Silly Question

I am hoping to fit a front and rear strut brace to make things a little crisper. Looking at my car, UK Turbo 2000, (year 2000 W reg) I can see where the front fits, easy, but the rear I cant see the tops of the suspension towers, they seem to be boxed in?

I have removed the material boot liner, and am down to bare metal, but I just cant see where it would fit.

Anyone advise? Do I need to cut away the metal?

Richard.

i'm not 100% sure, but i'm sure i remember reading somewhere that when fitting a rear brace on this age car that some 'bodywork modification' would be required. Sorry i can't be of more help

Don't know if it's the same as a 05 wrx, if so you have to take the back seat out then u'll see them.
