Hope u can help. Bought my STI new in April 05. Had Tracker Horizon fitted at that time. I work abroad so it has covered 7000 - my wife drives it twice a week. After 9 months the alarm kept going off during the nite so my dealer recovered the vehicle and fitted a new alternator and battery telling me the car wasnt being driven enough and the tracker was draining the battery. Problems now - wouldnt start and the alarm kept chirpping when the ignition was turned first thing in the morning. Recovered again - tested by dealer and Tracker agent who say the device is not draining the battery. Dealer has told my wife the car needs to be driven everyday and if possible with radio & sidelights on. She always drives with radio on so thought this would sort the alternator/battery. I am at a loss - cant accept my wife must drive the car every day.
