Default decat sti 2.5

decatted my sti 2.5. Seems alot quicker havent done anything else to car-money ,insurance,WIFE .
Any1 else done this? experences?

my friend decatted his clasic terzo and has done nothink else results before de cat car lenght slower than a focus rs in most sittuations after a car lenght faster

Would thought you will now need a remap as your car is probably now over boosting, drive it with caution until you get this done IMHO.

You need to be really carefull decating later Scoobys from 99 on I think, as without a remap it will probably be suffering from detonation ( pinking ) and could cause the engine to go pop. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will post below.

had it done by my local subaru dealer where i got the car from and i asked them would there be any probs but they said no but if anything did happen its un warrenty

ive only had 1 of the cats removed.
does any1 know how much bhp i should have from that?
if i had it chipped does it effect warrenty and do i tell the insurance?

Yes mate always tell your insurance, its not worth the grief if something happens, and you'll be surprised how much its costs to be honest.
What not get a PPP from the dealer as thats warranty friendly and over 300bhp on an sti
