Default RE: Cat on PPP WRX

Hi a question arond the exhaust system on a PPP WRX. I need to know if I change the exhaust (to a 3'' Buddyclub) will I need a sports cat or is that already included in the PPP pack?

Depends on year possibly? I know 05 has the centre cat removed for ppp, no sports cat.

WRX has a pre-cat in the up-pipe, normal cat in the down-pipe. PPP removes the centre-cat for a resonated cat-less section and the free-flowing Prodrive BB. For best gains I'd recommend a decat UP, sports-cat DP (expensive) and deresonated centre. Tie this in with a Walbro fuel pump and a remap and maybe an STi I/C and bigger injectors and you'll be laughing. Just make sure the chassis and brakes can cope as a well sorted suspension package will always show a power car a clean pair of heals
