My work colleague is mintier than a trebor super strong,but likes to make money from crash damaged cars etc and doing them up, i mentioned importing scoobs from japan etc and selling them on.

not wanting to take anyones business away but where would i/he look to find such things out to start this off ?

im presuming u need a japanese man over there to import us good vehicles etc ??

Yes you would need people in Japan, including native Japanese to take care of the administrative side where you need to be able to read/write Japanese and UK/Aussie/NZ/Canadian/US person in Japan with decent Japanese verbal skills to provide good communication with here.

Probably the best bet would be to find a company in Japan which only exports to Oz/NZ/Africa now but is looking to expand that to the UK and is looking for a business partner.

But be warned, there's a lot of people doing this already and competition is increasing, so serious research would be needed to see if a viable proposition for a new entrant.
