Subaru Impreza FAQ

Is a good place to start - check the chassis code, lots of wrx ra's being passed off as sti's (a damaged one on Ebay right now)

I had a wrx ra - very basic spec! Loved the performance. Is that a version 2 or 3? 96 was the changeover year.

It should have a roof vent, DCCD electronic centre diff.

Good luck.

Cheers Chris

yes, and there's a switch on centre console near handbrake to adjust the DCCD.

I'm sure the DCCD should be near the handbrake, its a round **** as far as I know you can't miss it.
Only the STi's had them so you could adjust from 4wd to Rwd etc

Make sure it is a genuine STi RA if thats what they are selling as. Check the code on the VIN plate.

Both are great fun, but don't get ripped off. Hope this helps

It does not make it rwd. It changes the rear to front split, so fully open there is more bias to the rear. IYSWIM.
