Talking Had my new Scooby dynoed today!!!

Had my MY01 Import STI dynoed today.

Can't believe the result!!

Had it done at Powerstation. They were very helpful and polite, wondered if that bad press thread would make a difference, it did!!!

Anyway, the result was 326.9 BHP and 293 LBS torque!!

Can't believe it!!

Only had a K&N 57i induction and a complete de-cat and 3 1/2 Remus exhaust!

Over the fookin moon!!!!

When you say dynoed, do you just mean measured or remapped, just out of interest!!?

Just a "Power run" to check all is well and what Torque and bhp is has. I'm well pleased!

nice 1

its impressive what you can get from small mods on these cars. I got around 50bhp on mine from filter and exhaust too, even the guy who tested it was shocked!

Anyone recommend a good place close to Reading to get my motor checked out for power, etc? I am interested to see if it is running as it should. Also - what kind of money are you looking at to get it done. Nothing fancy, just a simple BHP/torque output.

Only around £60 odd, nothing major. However I have no idea around reading, I am sure someone will come up with a place near there!

I just found DSA in Aylesbury and Paramount in Slough - both were around 55-60+VAT. One of them said I could use the equipment and play myself for 100. Prefer someone who knows what they are doing though!

If its an Import.. does that mean its had its UK Fuel Remap?

When replacing the Filter and De-catting... shouldnt you have a re-map? Im wondering if its 'safely' producing those figures.. without being close to going bang?

Awesome result if it is safe though

Good point. The fueling was checked at the same time as this was my worry to. I'm told it does lean out slightly at the very top end of the rev range but nothing to worry about. The power peaks at 7.5k anyway so no need to wring it's neck anymore.
Thats why i only did the induction kit and De-cat exhaust, didn't want to spend a fortune on mods.
