After a few years of wanting one I'm now in a position to get an Impreza. Trouble is I don't know what to get.

I'm not into modding so goo power and handling out of the box is a must and it'll be a used car also.

And just to make myself sound like a tart I'd like climate control rather than air con too.

Depends on what your budget is, but if you're not modding it (Yeah right! everyone says that)

If standard, i'd go for a Spec C, or Spec C RA.

 

About 16k. What is the spec c / ra? and how do they differ from a UK STi? What about STi+PPP? Would imports screw me on insurance? Bearing in mind it'll be my daily car too so anything too focused would probably do my nut in eventually
