Can anyone recommend a place (preferably near London) where they've had their kerbed alloys returned to showroom condition?

I understand the mobile firm Chipsaway do it but I was looking for a 'proper' alloy wheel refurbishment outfit.

TIA.

Rich.

Was at the Autosport show in Brum this year and thee were quite a few companies that do this in attendance. Maybe worth a visit!

Also try looking at the Autosport mag site. They have a directory thats useful listing loads of different companies.

Just got mine done this week at Spit & Polish in Tonbridge (Kent). Gave them the car for the day and they refurbed, machined the pads and balanced (they do a real good job of balancing!). £40 each.
Highly recommended.

There's a place in Tolworth/Surbiton on the Hook Road. Cant remember the name, but Andy Tang used them.

Dave,

Now that WOULD be good - just down the road for me!

Otherwise, I was going to drive down to Spit&Pol - they need the wheels at 8:30 but they'll definitely finish by 5:30pm. Or, you can just go to your local agent (tyre garage) and S&P will collect them for free and return them 3 days later...

They even have a website: www.spitandpolish.co.uk

Whatever next! (no, they don't collect from people's homes!)

Just tagging along so I get new message flags - looking for someone in N London to fix the 'tight to the kerb parking to avoid having your wing dinged' issues on my wheels...
