Default Roojai Det Alarm Fitted

Its basically a KnockLink. It was cheaper than a Knock Link so I decided to try it. Started fitting it this morning. Nothing really too difficult. All the instructions are straight forward.

This is the place you fit the Knock Sensor. This is the spare hole to mount it. You need to remove this screw and replace it with a longer M8 X 30mm bolt.

This is the New/Second BOSCH Knock Sensor fitted to a spare hole in the engine. It just below the intercooler in the middle.

This is the Control Box for the unit. I mounted it on the back of the dash surround out of site.

These are the markings for the holes to allow the LEDs to pop through.

Ready to fit back on car.

Finished

The red LED on the left shows the unit is powered up and monitoring for knock. I had my sister tap the knock sensor with a screw driver and all the LEDs lit up.

Im off out for a drive now!* :subaru:

Gave the car a good drive and only the first 2 Green LEDs lit up at 1.35BAR. So happy days.

I aint being funny but that looks as bad as having neon lights under your car or having go faster stripes down the side, why don`t you get a little xmas tree for the dash with flashing lights just to finish off the look
