WHICH n/s lens, the outer, or the inner?

If it's the outer, you'll have to replace it, as that's the one that does the dip beam for that side.

If it's the inner, it's an extra mainbeam. You could leave it out, and mesh the hole or just leave it, but what's the point of having better lights if you only use one of them?

They can't be THAT expensive to replace, surely?

Just done a bit of research for you. If it's an inner, the bit you want is ref: 0490047. It's a stock item, and is available for £43.95 plus £2 P&P from:

LAE Sales,
Unit 4,
Wissenden Corner,
Wissenden Lane,
Bethersden,
TN26 3EL
