Scooby Skin Disorder
Don't know if anyone can shed any light on this. I have noticed on my back bumper, that there is a very thin film peeling off the paintwork. The paint under it seems fine! Any ideas? It's going to take ages to peel of it off!

Yeah the laquer protects you paintwork.
Suggest you take it to a body shop they may be able to just rubdown and relaquer it which shouldn't be that expensive.
Yours is a Blob eye isn't it, should be doing that really, I'd suggest you get them to have a look for any other signs of accident repair at the rear. Peeling laquer is a frequent sign of bad repair work.
Just a suggestion.
