Default WANTED - Lambda Sensor

Hello Folks. I need a bit of help. I'm searching for a seond hand part for my 2001 WRX.

I'm looking for a 4 pin o2 sensor (Lambda) for the RIGHT manifold (before the CAT).

I'm looking for second hand because no where seems to suply them except Subaru who want £200!!

I've tried Grade A Subaru spares but they weren't much help.

Any suggestions on where to locate one would be HUGELY appreciated!

Cheers

Are you talking the 02 Sensor before the Up-pipe, Located in the exhaust manifold/Collector Box ??

Or the one in the exhaust section after the turbo ??

I have one at home, the only difference in the two is the length of the fly lead, Im not sure which one i have , but im edging towards the 1st in the collector box.

I bought a brand new one to replace mine & it was not the problem, turned out to be the Idle Control valve

Let me know which one & if it's the one i have you can have it for £30 + Postage.

have a quick look at the diagram here.........

Question, what is an uppipe? - ClubWRX Forum

If it's the front Lambda sensor that the ECU uses to try and keep the mixture stoich then I'd probably bite the bullet and buy the OEM pseudo wideband unit, BR Developments keep them in stock and might be a bit cheaper than a dealer
