Default Safe boost for an 2003 STI???

Just wondering what the safe maximum turbo boost would be for a UK 2003 STI?

The car i am looking at is a 2003 STI PPP that has since had a sports cat, different exhaust,Roger Clarke Induction Kit and an Ecutek remap done by Bob Rawle.

The owner says it is boosting at 1.5bar..................is that normal and SAFE on the standard turbo???

I am assuming it is,as all the work that has been done on the car has by done by a Subaru main dealer(all the same one),or Bob Rawle,so both well respected, but i am sure you guys know more than me!!!

Thanks in advance

My JDM STI7 boosts to 1.5 Bar as standard so i guess you should be equally ok with that

Mr Lewis, I find it quite illuminating with your multiple personalities. I must admit, a few of your recent PSlewis posts have been, lets say "abnormal" for you. I take it that your personas are having an internal power struggle, to see which one is going to be a dick today.

Cheers mate, just trying to get as much info about the car as i can before committing to buying it....................been in touch with the garage that has supplied, serviced, and modded it,spoke to the owner(obviously),and have been trying to phone Bob Rawle for a few days but only get an answer machine no matter what time i try him......................hopefully i will speak to him before i go and look at it.

When i spoke to the supplying dealer today to try and find out whats been done/when etc etc i got the usual "i don't think i will be able to tell you anything because of the data protection act",so immediately mentioned the guys name and i got "you don't have to worry about that car,it's mint, anything that needed to be spent has been..................the owner has an open wallet when it comes to his cars,he runs a WRX as a company car,has this STI,his son has one,his wife has one,and he has a new RB320 on order".

So,do you think he likes them or something ??
