Question warranty Q

Hi folks , i have a 53 STI Type UK like many i had to get my back shockers changed just over a year ago then 6 months ago the front also, all work carried out vis Subaru warranty. My car is out of warranty now and it seems that the near side back shocker is knocking again .
can anyone tell me how i stand with a Subaru replacement part is it covered for 3 years the same as original parts ?

Thanks

SNAP!!!!
The main dealership told me the parts are covered for 12 months.
Take it back to them and have a rant as you have deffo got an argument.
P.S. I did and they changed them no probs.......

Warranty on free warranty work expires at the end of the original warranty, not 12 months or whenever after replacement parts fitted. If you paid for the parts then they would be covered under normal guarantee.

You can argue, and may get a goodwill replacement, but the dealer is not obliged to replace the parts FOC under warranty.

Speedking is right, when it's 3 years old the warrenty is up, even if they were fitted 1 week ago. Goodwill is the only hope.
