Detects Detonation (When the fuel ignites at the wrong time due to running lean or too much boost) This can damage the engine, namely the Pistons. The Knocklink as far as I know will let you know this is happening so it can be resolved before it blows your engine.

Im looking for one of these myself, been going mad on the search button and this seems to be the most popular place

http://www.brdevelopments.com/

Would i need to buy KnockLink and the Knock Sensor/connector together?

Is the sensitivity adjustable? Is there any others cheaper that do the same job? Are these cheaper anywere else? etc etc

Are them roojai ones any better/worse than the ones from BR?

Which would be the better option?

And how would you save your engine??

Experts on here say that if you see a RED light it's TOO LATE!!!

Looking after your engine is simplicity itself - and it is FREE ........... it is no mystery, just do not modify and don't drive around like a friggin ***** = ENGINE INTACT!!

There is a scale to the knocklink, green, amber then red, if a fault was developing you would notice increased activity and therefore drive carefully or not at all, if there was flashing red led. Again you choose to look at the this in a simplistic attitude.

The knocklink will pickup excessive noise long before you can here an engine making worriying noises, by then, it will be too late.
