Well I have had my WRX since 1993. Did not even see another WRX for
years, but now just too many about, and too many miles on the clock
(109,000), so I'm going to join company car hell :-(

Have fun kids. The car is comman as muck now, but still fun to drive :-)

Talking

Personally I don't reckon there's much truth to the 'common as muck' opinion that people have of scoobs these days, certainly not where I live anyway. That may well be different in other areas tho.

In the first 2 months after I bought mine, back in July, I didn't see a single scoob over (quick tally) about 2500 miles. At the time there was a load of talk on the BBS about people not waving etc, I hadn't even seen another scoob to not wave back at!

The most scoobs I've seen in one day is about 3, even Pulsar GTI-Rs are more common here. In the same day I probably saw about 1,000 vectras/mondeos/A4s and maybe a handful of genuinely quick cars, so hardly common as muck IMHO.

Have fun Pierre!

WR Blue New Ages must be the most common and I only see another one once a week - it's quite good getting a wave too. If every other car was the same it still wouldn't make me enjoy driving it any less. And like the man said, they're definately more exclusive than anything from Dagenham or the like (I'm deliberately not mentioning the 3 series ) . Plus it'd be a pretty crap BBS if there was only 10 users

Good luck though - particularly if you haven't had a company car before (new tax changes are a killer if you're after anything decent).

All the best,

Dean
