Default Blobby WRX 'Stage 1'

Without going to radical expense, how much good drivable torque can be achieved - 300, 320 lb ft?

Which base would you use, PPP or std WRX - ie could PPP be elevated above 300 lb ft with modest expendiure - have a feeling someone like Andy F would have some solutions - before i bother him, I would welcome all suggestions based on achieved results

On The WRX theme, how would one differ on the road from an STi PPP Blobby (which I have owned) with similar power and only minor suspension mods - what susp mods would be recommended if say 320 lb ft can be achieved

This is likely to be an iterim car on the way back up to something along the line of Mr scoobynets 400 /400 so therefore cost of mods is important - ie best enhancement / £ whilst I am saving back up again..
