Default importing your own car

i am going to import my own car, and just wanted to know if any of you have done it and would you recomend anyone, as i am planning to use a agent to do it for me.

also does anyone know the costs i have to pay once the car comes off the ship. e.g. vat etc

Import Duty at @ 10% of everything (car; transport; port costs; shipping; agents fees, everything) youve spent so far with VAT @ 17.5% on top of that.
