06 STI or P1?
Hi,
I am in a bit of a dilemma, don’t know what to do.
I am looking to trade in my car and get back behind the wheel of a Subaru as I miss my RB5.
I have been looking at some 06 STI models and some P1s (P1 with 24000 on the clock). I like the classic P1 but I also like the hawk eye. Which one do I go for, which would you go for.
Comments more than welcome.

Hugely more refined compared to a P1.
Plus you've got 3 years warranty if new, or the guts of 3 years if used.

Why not get another original RB5? Good value and you'll have plenty of cash left over for some fun mods. A new set of wheels, seats and a quality stereo and you'll have the car you love plus a bit extra. The newage Impreza is a very different beast to the one you remember. Good luck.

Have to agree with the other posters. Sure, the P1 lOOks nice and goes well, but i would take the 06 STi everytime. New car, warranty, refinement and more...

Had a very similar dilemma matey....
....I pick up a 9 month old MY06 STi later this month!
The RB320 was an option for me but I just couldn't justify the extra expense. There are some really great deals kicking about on nearly new MY06 STi's at the moment. Have a look at the used car section of the Subaru website choose a few likely examples, get your haggling head on, visit a few dealers and you never know, you might just grab yourself a bargain....I did!
