Hey You Guys
Hello fellow scooby lovers,
Here's my story
A few weeks ago i took my first big plunge into the car market and invested in a 1998 Scooby WRX STI V5 jap import, with 50k mile on clock supposedly, (from IBC Japan), i fell in love on the spot
But like all abused pets being rehomed the feeling wasn't mutual, about 4 days after buying it i started to feel the clutch starting to slip, 2 days late while coming home from work it started to get real bad intill when i pulled up at a toll booth in rush hour (the M50, busyist in ireland) it went completely. So after 6 days of it being on the road it was knackered.
But has fate would have it this was a blessing in disguise, i left my baby into b fixed and the mechs opened up a whole can of worms, i need a new clutch, flywheel, timing and ideling belts and the seals around gear box where leaking oil all over the place. All in all it set me back 2200 euro in repairs (already cost me 9000 for car + vrt etc, a week earlyer). So the good deal i thought i was getting wasn't so great, IBC will b getting a very angry email and il try get some positive feed back fom them.
Well today after a week in the garage i finally got my baby back and feels like new
, the funny thing is i would probably do it all again, i absolutly love this car...
Well thats my little story, off to kerry in the morning from dublin and will probably b banned by time i get there with all the speed traps over here.

Certainly not the best introduction in to Subaru ownership but at least you are still smiling. Ironing out the issues now will perhaps serve you well going forward.............
