Im sure they didnt make them this year or am i wrong?
Can someone shed some light on this.

In 1998, Toyota ceased to import the cars to the U.S. from Japan, although the car was last sold in Canada in 1995. They stopped production of the car altogether in August 2002 due to new emission standards coming into effect in 2003.

Its could be an incorrectly registered import, possibly by mistake or other reason.
If you wanted to view it you could look for the build date which is stamped on panels and stitched into the seatbelts near the mounts and this will give a genuine build date. You could also check with Toyota and they can give info if you have a chassis no. or build code from the vin plate.
I dont know this for sure but date of reg. is different from build date and if it was not reg. until 2002 then where was it?
