Can someone explain about an induction pipe!!
#1
I dont know much about engine parts so if i get a name wrong dont michael me too much please as im learning still.
I've been informed that I should change this pipe as they r too small as standard.
Its on a terzo & from what i can remember its the pipe from the turbo to the map sensor.
can u explain what its supposed to do and if its worth getting done, also what about an induction kit is it worth it, or a waste
ive only got a scooby sport exhaust & a K&N panel filter.
Help & your guidance would be appreciated.
ps. which is the best 1 to get and the cheapest place to get it.

I would think your informer meant the down pipe which can be exchanged for a cat free pipe available from scooby sport, why not go the whole hog and change the whole exhaust for a free flow system!!!!!

I think what you are on about is should you dump the standard air filter assembly for an induction kit??
Well quite simply ,no. We have found them to be troublesome and noisy(very noisy off boost). For some reason they cause the engine management system to play up and have been known to take out the air mass meter.
Stick to your scoobysport exhaust(a full system helps) and a good panel filter in the standard air box- it's a tried and tested set-up that works.
