Default intercooler

guys is the p1 intercooler the same as one from the version 5 sti as i am aware the p1 is based from the same engine or is it still a uk intercooler?

if it the sti will it be better than the 97 wrx version i have on my car already?
or if its the uk will it be better tan my exsisting one as above?

and what bhp is it good for?

Its a V5 part, as youve said. Its a little better but it isnt realy worth messing about with. Id advise you to stick with what you have until you need a front-mounted part.

It will be slightly better than the UK one, most of that is down to the alloys "Y" piece connector. Good for about 330bhp I think.

A better option would be a new shape STi 8 one.

But both versions will need a new dump valve, so cost for that.
