Default Another rip off scoobynet user? you decide?

I purchased a set of jdm electric folding wing mirrors at the end of september from a guy on here based in kent.
I specifically asked if they was definately dbm, and was told they was. Anyway, they arrived and wasnt dbm, plus the switch was missing,in fact they was sonic blue!
GUTTED!
Contacted the seller who wasnt too helpful, so decided to save all the aggravation i would sell them on to get my money back. Some of you may remember my post about these before?
They sat in the box they arrived in until yesterday when i decided i would sell them on as i need to gain my money back.
Just emailed a potential buyer some pics only for him to point out they are not a matching pair, both mirrors and housings are a different shape!

I have telephoned and texted pictures to the seller, who again is not very helpful and is basically saying that he sold me a matching pair of mirrors!

What should i do? Tried being reasonable from the start with the first lot of problems, but this is a joke!

How come you didn't notice they were a different shape when they arrived ? surely you took them out the box and inspected them ?

Have you got the photo's the seller sent you ? and yes name and shame so we can hear his side of the story ? as there are always 2 sides

if he posted you some pictures before you bought them post them on here and see what everyone else says? before you name and shame, but if he has described them as a matching pair then he is at fault!!

I purchased a silver set of jdm mirrors, then shortly after found a deep blue pair for sale, so i purchased them as well as my car is deep blue and it saved either swapping the insides over, or a respray. Thought id sell on the unused pair.
When they arrived, as soon as i undone the box i noticed they were not dbm, had a quick look and noticed the switch was missing as well, so didnt really pay much attention and they have sat in the box ever since.
I didnt have a clue until another scoobynet user pointed it out to me.
The seller did send a picture to me, but i did not notice they were different in this either.

The seller was CWT, and i hope he does come here to give his side of the story, as for me its been a nightmare right from the start when he supplied me the wrong email address for the paypal payment, then posted i hadnt paid!

The pic was sent to show the colour he assured me was deeb blue, i even asked if it was definately the my00 only colour deep blue metallic. In the pic it was hard to tell the colour, but as i said i was assured it was correct.

As soon as the potential buyer pointed out they were odd i removed them from sale. I am now selling the origional set i purchased (silver) and am using the insides from the blue ones myself by the look of things, so clearly not trying to "fob off" anyone! Lets stick to the facts shall we?

well CWT seems to have started a rather childish thread, and replied to my for sale advert. Seems to me judging by his actions that he knew damn well he had sold me an odd set of mirrors!
Shame he didnt come and give his side of things SENSIBLY!
Need i say any more.......

YOUR THREAD NOTES ENDED UP WITH 2 SETS OF MIRRORS WELL THATS YOUR FAULT.

Default MIRRORS

HI ALL IM (CWT) JUST FOUND THIS AND RATHER PISSED OFF.

I,LL START FROM THE BEGINNING.

I HAVE ONLY JUST BOUGHT A IMPREZA TYPE R OFF A FELLOW SCOOBYNET GUY, FROM SCOTLAND, REPLACED THE MIRRORS WITH A SET OF CARBON GANADOR JOBBIES.ALL GOOD...

NOW SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENT A SET OF JDM FOLDING ELECTRIC MIRRORS OF WHICH I SOLD £55 FOR THE PAIR. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS A BARGAIN. PICTURES WERE SENT TO SHOW THE COLOUR AND THE DEAL WAS DONE.

SENT THEM OFF AND IT TOOK 5WEEKS FOR ME TO BE TOLD THEY WERE DIFFERENT IN SOME WAY????

GUY WENT ON TO SAY HE HAD NO MONEY AND COULD HE HAVE HIS MONEY BACK.

I FIND THIS RATHER ODD AS AFTER DRIVING THE CAR FOR 500 MILES HOME I WOULD HAVE NOTICED SOMETHING ODD ABOUT THE MIRRORS.

I HAVE LOTS OF PICTURES OF THE CAR BEFORE AND AFTER THE PURCHASE WITH THE MIRRORS ON.

PLEASE NOTE TO ALL, I HAVE BOUGHT AND SOLD ON HERE AND HAVE HAD NO REAL PROBLEMS. APART FROM A COUPLE OF TIMEWASTERS.

I THOUGHT EBAY WAS BAD.
