did they not all come with abs? drive down the road at 30 then slam the brakes on, you'll find out then! obviously do it in a wide quiet road
thats what i did when i go my 92 import, and was pleased that it stopped in a straight line compared to the BMW

Turn your ignition on and see if the ABS light comes on with the other lights

turns out it didnt have abs! bit of luck on my part i think! although i did think it came as standard on these cars! obviously not! thanks for your replies. got another problems now! arghhhh!!! cv boot has come away from the driveshaft due to the exhaust being too close to the driveshaft, why it has only started doing this now is a mystery! anyway ive got a bit pi***d off trying to sort it out so i have taken it down quickfit down the road from me hopefully they dont charge me a silly price to change rubbers on exhasust and put grease in cv boot and clip boot to driveshaft~! oh the joys of having a car keep going wrong!!!! not a big thing tho just annoying as i have been without a car now for 2 weeks, already changed driveshaft once because of same problem!
