Ripped off by a fellow Scooby member from Edinburgh
This post has been re-introduced, due to an idiot getting the previous one deleted by idiotic postingand threats of which i do not condone. I bought a P1 off a fellow scooby netter on here, who has over 2000 posts and is in the EDINBURGH (fairmile head) area of Scotland. I thought that a fellow scoobynetter who promises to tell all about the P1 he is selling will tell all But he forgot to divuldge quite a bit of info about the car and where he got it from. I have e-mailed/left messages/text'd and more, but this guy who i bought the car from, who previously divulged himself after everyone checked on recent P1 for sale posts....kart_man (dave morgan) has decided to dissapear. Now i have offered him the chance to sort the situation out, but all he wants to do is record conversations/ tell me porkys and seemingly hide in the never regions of scotland. How many other people have bought cars off this guy? if you have i would be interested to know...and so will you.

Anyway, careful next time and hope you sort it

i read most of the previous posts on this the other week. i dont post often but i do read a hell of a lot of posts on sn. the law should do more about this kind of thing because some people might not have had the car checked and been driving it about in that condition, hate to think about the possibilities.

afaik the car was badly damaged and bodged back togeather, the chassis was shorter on one side than the other, the repairs were covered over with oil, a pre prepaired hpi report was offered (obviously falseified (sp) ) no mention of any damage at all was mentioned, yet the seller had been advertising previously on wanted for p1 body parts...
he has talked to the seller and they have promised call backs, emails etc and nothing has come from it.

No way he should just lie down and take this, the seller deserves serious reprocussions whatever they may be
