That focus is decatted, K&N induction kit, remapped, blueprinted putting out 97 mind blowing horse power. It has a vent to atmosphere dump valve which as we all know makes it go even faster

Would you say it's the power delivery and not times that made it so aninal like?

Definitely... Think the scoob handles its power too well and just doesnt feel exciting enough.. the cossie was brutal and scarey but the scoob i just find boring sometimes..

I love the car but its no where near fast enough

The cossie would pin you to your seat @ 100mph...

The scoob can barely be bothered to accelerate at that speed..

Without doubt the scooby chassis is in a different league to that of the cos but the engine is a mile away IMO

God don't let my bro see this thread!!!

He has a 4x4 saph 350 ish bhp and for the past 17 years has been telling me it is king

Go on then can I see some good 1/4 mile results?

His car feels very quick but in a dangerous way, when he brakes from silly speeds <on a private track> the thing will jump all over the road and I always keep thinking that something is going to fall off!

Were they really that quick? I mean jason Donavon was topping that charts when it rolled out of the show room and he was sh*t!

What am I saying? after all it's a sierra, I don't care how quick it is!! (I know the clip was an escort)

(flame suit at the ready)

I find Scoob people very blinkered.

Also some Cossie people are the same.

Tho Cossie people know alot more about cars in general.

I have to say I still love the look of the escort cosworth. If it wasn't for the fact that I would probably blow the crappy gearbox to a million pieces I might own one at some point.
