Ive got hold of the silver subaru lettering for my car and need to know exactly where they are positioned on the boot lid. How far up from the bottom of lid, how far across from the left and how much spacing between each letter as the pieces are seperate at the moment, anyone good with numbers who can help, please do...

You gonna owe me for this - it is fecking cold outside!

OK
Bottom edge of bootlid to bottom edge of lettering 12cm exact
Letter spacing S-U-B-A-R-U 2.2CM (measure at the base of each letter to ensure even spacing
This should equate to a even gap each end (bootlid edge to the S and U to the bootlid edge of around 19CM each side.

Hints and tips time
Make a maskingtape template of the letters as per the measurements, stick it on the bootlid (level) so the top edge of the tape (with the positioning marks) lines up with where you want the bottom edge of the letters, recheck it is level
and the gap looks right and attach the letters.

Make sure the bootlid is clean and free from grease and grime.

Good luck

Paul

You can come and take measurements off mine, or do a bit or "brass rubbing"!!
I'm not too far from you. BUT, I've got a wagon....I would think the letter spacing is the same?
