The driver comes from a more northern part of the country than I, and more southern than you judging by that accent!

This Video was on SN last week.
I'm sure I read a later post on here that, on a Ferrari Site, the Italian Car Driver was saying how he'd baited the Scoob & was only half trying & let it pass just to have a laugh at him??
Am I imagining it, or was this posted?

Check out the figures:
Ferrari 360
bhp per ton 0-60 0-100 60-100 quarter mile
280.2 4.27 9.44 5.17 12.47
Bhp per ton: 263.42
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.950 - 100 (Secs) : 10.1660 - 100 (Secs) : 6.21Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.60
The video seems to support this, the Ferrari didn't have enough poke to pull away from the Scooby at the speeds attained, just enough to keep it at bay. No shame in that, Scoobies and Evos are designed to keep exotica honest! At the end of the day, he shouldn't feel insecure, he's the one with the Ferrari!
IMHO it's clear that the Ferrari did let the scooby by at the end of the video, as the Scooby would not have enough power to pass it if the Fezza was trying and hadn't been caught sleeping.

Well ive had the pleasure of driving a 360 modena with the flappy paddle gearchange at bruntingthorpe training ground and have to say the acceleration was dissapointing...compared to my v5 sti ra..
Sounded sweet and certainly had plenty of grip in the corners though.

YET
When a scooby with a similar power to weight ratio and -no doubt- a higher torque to weight ratio than a Fezza gives it a hard time, it's, "he wasn't trying"
Accept it: the Ferrari WAS NOT sufficently quicker than the Scooby to put clean air between it!
Conceed now, or I'll start giving chinese burns!!!!

The Lambo would have the poke, the Ferrari didn't.
Always preferred lambos

...the Autocar test of the 360 had a 0-100 time of 8s.
A Scood would either need a lot of power or a lot less weight to compete. A standard STi V does 0-100 in around 12.5s.
Also as a 360 will have reasonably linear power delivery it will feel less powerful or quick as a Scoob - until you look at the speedo. My 911 was exactly the same.
On track my 330bhp Sti V was bang on the same pace as a 355 in a straight line. But the 355 was a lot slower than the 360.

The car in question was a 350bhp scooby, with probably similar torque. The figures for the Fezza and Scooby are above and they tell a story that seems to correspond with that video i.e. the Fezza would not be able to put much clean air between the two. A Fezza 430 would be a different matter though, as that has more power still and the torque that the F360 lacks.
BTW power to weight ratio of 355 289.87 bhp/ton
Power to weight ratio of 355 292.39 bhp/ton
The latter won't be that much quicker. If it was, someone wasnt trying

I was just waiting for a tractor to pull out on a blind bend Or worse still a group of cyclists to be around the next corner. Not the most sensible piece of driving I've ever seen.
