Question New **** !!

Looking to replace the standard gear **** on my 56 wrx, trouble is when I start to unscrew it the shaft seems to undo really low down within the gaiter. I thought it would be just the top that came off.....worried that if I unscrew it fully I won't be able to put it back.

Any ideas ??

as swisstoni would say

" you need to really grip your shaft hard, it may help if you push back down the gaitor, once you have a firm grip, start twisting your **** in the right direction and see if it starts coming off . You may need to lube it a bit "
