Default Tech question.

As above but posted here because i'm more likely to get an answer here!

I now have a standard exhaust on a MY04 WRX with a Ninja back box, I'm going to be upgrading to a 3" straight through exhaust from the Turbo back (No Cats) and a remap.Will this be louder? I'm trying to do this on the QT so the missus does'nt know Answers please.

Actually that has worked with me on my old Prelude (but I was trading it in, not talking to the cops !!)
