Advertised my car on pistonheads last night.....

thismorning i get this......

:-) - now looks to me like a scam so i think i`m going to ignore and wait for a uk buyer who will atleast ask to see the car first and have a drive!!...

Had the same sort of reply, ie what mileage, condition, colour etc to an ad I put in Motorcyclenews - obviously not reading ad as I was selling a private plate!!

Just too many scams around these days.

It does look a little better written than your usual scams mails, as Graham says, they usually ask to confirm condition, and usually ask stuff that is already mentioned in the advert.

Although it is a Yahoo e-mail acount which is highly dubious, but it is amalta dialing code is (+356)

But if in doubt, ignore.

I would definately ignore this mate, if they are a serious buyer they will contact you a few times, scammers normally only try once, and if they get a reply they will continue.

I had loads when selling a Seat Leon on Autotrader and ebay. It was ridiculous!

Yeah i agree mate, ignore it i had iy recently on selling motor. They didnt even want to look at the car only wanted to send a cheque for more than i was asking for! (fake cheque though!!)
