First off, it's not an sti although it could be ppp. Make sure you see the ppp certificate from Prodrive first. The spoiler probably came as part of the pack, but sti cars don't have front fog lights (for a start) There'd also be a massive sti top mount intercooler under the bonnet too.
Do the usual checks, service history, warranty work. Check for knocking from the rear struts, although I'm sure that's only an sti issue.
Try and test drive others if you like it, as most scooby new buyers tend to buy the first car they test, I did

If it produces 348 lb's of Torque its had some serious mods. Ask the dealer to prove the figures he has advertised.

Just on how bad the advert is, I wouldn't even bother going to see it. And it WON'T have 348lb/ft of torque! More like 248lb/ft, which is quite big difference.

I'd wait for a lower mileage one myself! If you do 12,000 miles a year this will be pushing 100,000 miles in 3 years time. These are ludicrously cheap 2nd hand now and this one has a few too many things that don't add up.

Check out the for sale section on here first!

No harm in test drive!

There's an 05 on here with 19,000 miles on the clock for £13,500!
