Thanks guys, thats what I thought but my broker told me that you make claims off of each others insurance - which is a bit poo considering there was no damage to my car!

If you're involved in an accident and both parties share blame, Is your claim made on the other parties Insurance or on your own?

If the blame is 50/50 share then you both claim off your own insurance.

I always thought that where an accidicent was 'knock for knock' then your insurance company would cover your bill and the other partie's insurance cimpany would cover their bill.

Might be wrong, though....
