Looks like a standard WRX.

Probably WRX AWD from your list of options

Couple of local links when you get the modding bug

As stated, all of your years Impreza's are all wheel drive (AWD) and its not SL (sunroof and leather) so a normal one

Andy,

I put this post up on another thread earlier today, but you did ask about power increases so here goes :

I have an 01 WRX :

I wanted to save cash and didn't want to bother with exhaust swaps at MOT time. The car had a Prodrive WR backbox when I bought it 3 months ago, so I just fitted a 2 piece decat centre pipe/deresonated exhaust section and had a remap done 6 weeks ago.

The result - 273bhp on Optimax after Andy F remap and a car which (to me) feels genuinely quick rather than having good "hot hatch" performance.
The car's lots of fun and I must admit I keep blipping the throttle because it's such a laugh ! (I now have a radar detector ).

By the way, if you're going to uprate the performance I'd strongly recommend
supension mods too ~ I fitted Whiteline ARB and droplinks plus Prodrive springs. The car is now far superior to the vehicle I bought 3 months ago.

Hope this gives you some ideas,

Andy Mc

A-Plan on 01635 974646 for a decent insurance brokerage. Tell them about any mods.

I saved £100 with A-Plan on an 04 WRX, really helpful and friendly blokes too.

I bought an 04 WRX in black not long ago. You should love it. Let us know how you get on.

Welcome To SNet

Plenty of meets up your way I think via Tyne Tees Scoobies.

See You At the NBO next year

Enjoy the car, and make sure you`ve got the day off work too
