Default Alloy rim guard

I've got goodyear F1 eagles on my car so they have got rim guard but because the tyre compound is soft it did not protect my alloy wheel from being scratched . Does anyone know if you can buy a rim guard to put on outer rim of wheel. I did experiment with cutting a clear air pipe down the middle but if you don't cut straight it won't stay on rim of wheel .

Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Thanks

Problem solved.

Yeah! When we had a SEAT Leon Cupra we scraped the rims twice: they curve inwards and the GSD3 rim protectors did a good job on a couple of occasions. Scooby rims (MY05, anyway) are less amenably designed and are harder to avoid scraping. Have you tried lowering the wing mirrors as you reverse?
