yup 240ps.

mine made 250 bhp 240 lbft with total decat, equal length headers and a panel filter. must make the next step to a z4. any ideas on the extra it would give with these mods? would rather fit this than the dawes device i've got waiting to go on.

A Z4 will make little or no difference in your case. You'd be better getting an ECU chip (read Scooby ECU) or saving up and going for the Apexi.

If you're planning on keeping the car for a good while and doing further mods, then you will save money in the long run by going straight for the Apexi.

You need a proper re-map to get any real benefit from those headers anyway.

20ps is what the z4 has over whatever ecu you have in the car at the mo so you could say you would get an extra 20ps although you most probably won't.
You could still fit the dawes device after getting a z4 ecu

rossyboy - no real plans for any other mods. at most would only be a larger top mount from a later scooby.

i was thinking that the z4 runs a higher amount of boost so must have the extra fueling to cope. where as the dawes device just increases the boost.

would love to go for the apexi. just can't justify it at the moment.

Id guess that a TD05/Z4 and a decat downpipe would be good for 275bhp.

i think a guy called Scott T posted what boost levels you get from various ecus i'll try to find a copy i've got and post it.
The thing with a dawes device is that it won't let the ecu cut the boost if it wants to (I was told this by a supplier of the device so i don't know for fact)

I have a VOS chip installed and boosting about 15.95 psi with a dawes. Works great.

I think it shold be about 270 bhp but i might be wrong.
