Default Removing suntan cream from paintwork

We drove to the beach for our holiday this year. The kids managed to get suntan cream hand prints on the car and I must admit that I've been slow in cleaning it. It's probably been a month or so but this morning I decided to give the car a good wash. The hand prints just won't budge. I've tried:
Meguiars NXT car wash
Meguiars Quick Detailer
Windowlene
Washing up liquid
Isoprpanol

But no joy. Pictures below. Any advice (apart from wash the car more frequently!) gratefully received.

I had a similar problem on my wifes Leon.

Normal washing doesn't budge it - as you have found out!

However, wax did. I use Meguiars Gold Class wax, and that did it.

if nothing else will work its not ideal but you could use wheel cleaner but take it off really quickly as it is nasty stuff for paint!!

Yeah - try a clay bar - that will get it off without damaging the paintwork.

If it does not then it must have been absorbed into the paintwork.

Methylated spirits does for degreasing most things. If not at least your car won't get sunburnt there . Best of luck m8

I'll try meths in the morning (on the car ) but I'm not hopeful as the isopropanol didn't touch it.

Faracla G3 pronounced 'faraclay' is probably your best bet if a clay bar didn't work

From the fridge or off the shelf ? I agree if isopropanol didn't shift it then meths wont.

A valeters mop with G3 rubbing compound should do the trick and then a polish afterwards. the mop will cut into the paint so be very careful also spray water on the area while your doing it.
