Default prodrive kits

Hi i was wondering if there is any way of telling what prodrive kit has been put on a car and what it consists of?
The reason i ask is a friend of mine has just bought an impreza its a uk wagon classic (facelift version). He has been told it has a prodrive kit on it and is running 240 bhp but has no certificate as the previous owner could not find it. He wants to try and find out what has been done to the car.
Thanks

What year is the car??

Check the ECU .... lift the carpet on the upslope of the passengers footwell, and unbolt the metal plate underneath .... the ECU (if its like mine) should have Prodrive and/or STi stamped on it!
