fitting splitter

just had a v6 sti splitter delivered. About to fit. where do i put the rubber protector strip? got all the bits just no instructions!

anyone? guessing it goes along the front but should i put it on before fitting or will i be able to tuck it in after?

cheers. just finished job. kinda put it on once i had a couple of screws in but not tightened, worked ok i think!
