Revs +/- switch on dash?
Folks,
Just been to see a 2003 JDM STi and noticed a switch on the dash marked Revs +/- It's simllar to the swtich to reset the trip counter onthe speedo. Could someone tell me what it's for????
I'm assuming it's either for setting a rev limiter or a shift light???
The reason I'm asking is cause I've just bought a similar car which is waiting for me in New Zealand so I'm doing my homework prior to arriving over there! We're emigrating in November. So, seeing as I'm just a little bit excited about it here's a couple of pictures! It's a 2003 JDM STi, 21,000 miles and I'm getting it from a Subaru dealer in Auckland. I can't wait!
Cheers
Mike

Turn it anti-clockwise to reduce the revs at which the light and buzzer come on, or turn it clockwise to increase it.
Divide the revs by 100, so if you want the buzzer and light at 7000rpm, then set it to 70. And so on....

Superb, thanks folks.
I'm bound to have a few more questions about the new car so it's always good to know where to find the answers!
