Back Box
Hi,
Just got a 02 WRX STI UK Type.
It sounds good, but could have a better deeper burbble.
Anyone be able to point me in the right direction of what to change to achieve this?.

Changing the backbox to an aftermarket will increase the noise, as will each cat being removed.
Exhausts are personal preference on noise etc.

Hello and welcome to Scoobynet !
Judging by your username there may well a few sharks along shortly - so be warned - most of us are harmless really.
1st place to start is to change the exhaust backbox (if it hasnt been done already).
The are loads to choose from depending on how much noise, what size and style you want.
A prodrive PPP or WR sport one is probably the starting point - but lots of people would say they are too quiet. (2nd hand ones on eaby go for around £100ish).
Do a search and you will find more options - I am sure one thread has a link to sound recordings of a scoob fitted with various different exhausts.
