advice on brake disk play

Default advice on brake disk play

hello, Ive had a annoying sqweeking noise onthe drivers side front for a good few weeks, Ive just taken the wheel off to pant the callipers and there is abit of play in the disk, Should there be?
Ive just rang my local subaru dealer but he cant get me in till the 6th sept, its 3 years old in novermber so luckly still under warrenty,well im hoping it is as its a EU import, how do i find out if it is,

The only thing holding the brake disc on is.........wait for it............

The WHEEL!!

Its bound to move with the wheel off!!

Try cleaning the pads with some brake cleaner, or re copper slipping the backs.

yes ive just realised that the wheel holds it on , most cars ive had before the disks are held on by screws, me being thick lol

ill try the cleaning and re copper greasng it,
