Don't bother, it'll draw hot air from engine and may cause lean running and MAF problems.

Standard airbox with decent panel filter, eg STi, Green, K&N etc will be good for 300ponies.

None Will suck in hot, dirty air potentially reducing power, unless you spend some extra time and money sorting a cold air feed. Also, 98-00 cars have very sensitive hotwire MAF sensors that get shaken to an early death by I/K's, and if you don't spot the warning signs you'll be looking for the best price for a rebuild. Spend the money on the exhaust and a remap, some decent brakes, better suspension, or anything except an I/K. All IMHO.

Good Advice.

The place where I get my Scooby looked after has, a shed full of induction kits that were returned by punters who have had serious problems who have turned to Panel Filters.

Panel Filter does the job great, you can wash it and use it again again for £35 ish.

Good Luck.
