Does anyone know why this would happen. Only happens in reverse!!!!!

 

normally makes a noise if there is dirt or dust in the pads and sometimes it only rubs when you reverse.

mine do the same evey now and then, as im due new pads it may be the indicators on the pads hitting.

 

had this on both my impreza's just a thing wth the brand i think, asked several times about it and always told the same thing, they do it even when everything is fine. wouldn't worry unless its doing it going forwards
