Your Scoob Pet hates !!!
We all love our scoobs, but what about your car annoys you ?
Mine would be the windscreen wipers (old and new) push the water/cleaner onto the drivers side and it just stays there and looks horrible when dry.
The Fog lamp switch is just behind the indicator stalk and can easily be put on without you knowing it.

Agree with the windsceen wipers, there sh*te, especially at high speed.
And the crap headlights, makes driving at night in the rain a b*tch, which is a shame, cos its the sort conditions I like.

Wipers - Just smeer
Headlights - Not bright enough
Horn - beep beep (need i say more)
All the other shortfalls i've managed to remove by upgrades:
Tramlining
Brakes
Lag
Guess it's time to start thinking of fixing the first 3 nags...

Oh goody another pet hate thread!
Ok, lets go....
The massively over-assisted steering.
Sloppy pedal feedback from the brakes (nope, it's not air or bulkhead flex )
Tankslappers upon correcting oversteer (otherwise known as the "bite" )
Woeful understeer on slow/tight corners
The turbo lag
Rubbish off-boost driveability
Road noise
The jiggly slow speed ride on 40 profile tyres.
The 30yr old mid-life IT techy/salvage dealer image (newage)
The 20yr old "innit" image now the car has fallen to Nova value (classic) - baseball cap optional.
Tasteless gfx and bolt on body bits and crappy ill-fitting oversized backboxes that do nowt to performance are essential (that goes moreso for the 30yr old newage drivers).
The paranoia of parking anywhere in, around or within 200miles of Brum for fear of theft (or any car park at a motorsports related venue..i.e Donnington).
The classic's 2nd gear "half boost" syndrome after holding ingear too long before attempting an overtake.
Clutch Judder
The "they all do that, sir" dealer attitude
Over priced parts prices - genuine and aftermarket.
The "it's special" owner attitude.
The oil arguments that arise from the above attitude.
The fuel RON arguments that also arise from the mentioned attitude.
MAF sensor paranoia.
Oh, and fuel consumption.
I'm sure there is more to add....

My Hates
Seats make my back ache
Fog light switch is easily turned on when turning the key
The OE horn (easily replaced with 2 tone)
Headlights (easily sorted with decent uprated bulbs)

Clearing the screen on a hot summers day, using the window washers, and 10 seconds later having all the washer fluid "sucked" into the open windows and deposited over my nice new shirts
Top hate for me has to be battery going dead after 5 days of not driving!

Main complaint about scooby ownership is other drivers tbh. You get numpties want to race while sat in heavy traffic during rush hour and others who insist on sitting one inch off the back bumper. There are also two definite camps of people who are prepared to let you out at junctions or when they exit junctions themselves. Normal folk (i'm in this bracket) who ignore the car / driver and are just courteous road users who know life is to short to be an arsehole to every other road user, then you have the others... Who for example for love nor money will not let you out at a junction (and go out of their way to do this) or insist on crawling out of entry points on roundabouts slap bang into your path then you get the rabbit caught in the headlights look as if you appeared from no where, grrrr.
All the other stuff like cockpit etc. just doesn’t bother me as it’s peripheral to the actual drive of the car.
