Default standard airbox

Hi folks im removing my hks induction kit from my 94wrx and im replacing it with the standard airbox with a green panel filter. will i get more airflow to the airbox by removing the resonator box and snorkel or is it better to leave them in the os wing.

I think Harvey did some testing on the classic induction system recently and reported that it is better to leave it in place. Not too sure if the ECU can cope with the increased airflow and may run lean. I have been running my new-age without the res and snorkel for 2 years now with no ill effects, but I believe the ECU's are more advanced and adaptable now. Apologies if I am wrong on any count.

I'm possibly attending an RR day soon where I may get 3-4 runs on the rollers, so may use one up to refit the res and judge it for myself.
