Hello. I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 22 from Leyland - near Preston. Currently drive a 205 GTI 1.6 - but looking to upgrade in November i've still got my 2 years no claims bonus. I considered a 306 GTi-6, a 306 Rallye, Clio 182 Trophy, 205 Mi16 and a Fiesta RS Turbo. Then just seeing how high quotes would go - I got a quote on a Scooby WRX STi 2.0 Turbo - and while it wasn't cheap - was certainly something I can afford. Thought I'd join here and make sure it was the right car for me before I took the splash. My budgets about 6k - which browsing autotrader will seemingly get me a reasonably low mileage one. Anything I should look for imparticular - or anything I need to be warned about?

Thumbs up

Hello and welcome worthy one!

Insurance is the last consideration when buying a Subaru IMHO . . . .The first consideration is that its just such a cool car, and simply the best in the world!

306 GTi-6, a 306 Rallye, Clio 182 Trophy, 205 Mi16 and a Fiesta RS Turbo = absolute cr*p!

Oh how I love making sweeping statements!

Hi! Think craps a bit harsh - but I wanted something that was gonna excite me to drive. I'm hoping to benefit from some Japanese Reliability - rather than bother with any more French cars. As for the FRST - just wanted something a bit quicker - hence my interest in getting a Scooby.
