Default Problem!!!

Alright guys got an issue, hope someone can help. Recently bought some JDM sti sweeping clocks problem is that they are calibrated for KPH still how. Do i get them converted to MPH its the newage shape.

How it was SVAd Im unsure, but you have two options. Either fit a small electronic converter to the speedometer and cover the 'K' in KPH on the facia; or fit a facia pricnipally calibrated in MPH. This iwll only read to 110mph-120mph though; and the 180kph/112mph speed restriction will still be in place.

Thanks gc8, the car is british but the clocks are japanese, where can i get this electronic thingy from and what is it called.Will the car be limited due to changes in the clocks????

You can get them from fleabay, search for a "speedo convertor" and you should find one. With my car (not a Subaru) the limiter is on the clocks so as soon as you hit 180kmh it cuts out, however if you convert the clocks to MPH, in theory the power will cut at 180mph.
